Risky Riders

This scene originally had the stake-filled pit existing in my grandparents’ front yard, as I looked over the porch railing in horror. In the pit was a narrow ledge on which children were riding bikes too fast, almost in a careless manner. I feared the obvious would happen, but luckily it did not before the dream shifted or I awoke. It has stuck with me, though, and I’m not sure what it means. I had this dream in my late teens/early twenties, and giant thorns made a periodic appearance during this time in my life.
