Cityscape Night

This painting first appeared to me in 2000. It depicts a simplistic cityscape of an industrial area of a city, in the center of which is a column of smoke spiraling upward out of view. Interspersed in the smoke column are bits of primary colors. I get the impression that the smoke is a remnant of a superhero-type character flying up into the sky, the whole scene being like a comic book cell.
